Window Specifications
Miller Metal Specialties Fire-Rated Windows have been approved, listed and labeled by
Warnock Hersey, for fire ratings, based on successful testing according to NFPA 257
standards for twenty years. Adhering to strict American Society For Testing And Materials
(ASTM) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) NFPA 80 specifications.
All Miller windows comply with the National Association of Architectural Metal
Manufacturers (NAAMM) "Metal Finishes Manual for Architectural and Metal Products" for
applying and specifying finishes to our products.
Frames, mullions and glazing stops are fabricated from 16 gauge galvanized (paint-lok)
cold-rolled steel. Hardware is steel or stainless steel with enamel finish. All frame joints,
mounting fins and integral mullions are welded utilizing true-penetration MIG welds.
Oversized windows and combination window sets are joined with interlocking mullions
for superior strength. Optional finishes with weather resistant, electro-deposited powder
coated enamel. Miller's standard closing devise is a 165 degree fusible link. Optional
electronic closing devise is available upon request.
